Cherry Creek Media acquired by Townsquare

Thursday afternoon in a company-wide zoom meeting, the management at Cherry Creek Media announced CCM has been purchased by Townsquare Media. Cherry Creek includes dozens of smaller market radio stations throughout the Western United States, including six in the St. George area (KDXU, B92.1, Star98, ESPN97.7, New Country and Dave FM) as well as a NewsTalk station in Cedar City, KSUB.

Townsquare CEO Bill Wilson said the move was a benefit for both companies and said he didn't plan on changing anything about Cherry Creek Media's current recipe for success.
