Flooding near Mesquite closed a portion of I-15 last night.

I-15 Southbound lanes were closed for a short time due to the flooding. The stretch of road was near milepost 105 between Mesquite and Moapa, the lanes were reopened between 2 and 3 o’clock this morning. Mesquite Police Dispatch told KDXU heavy rains north of Mesquite caused the flooding and it occurred in an area where flooding doesn't usually happen. No serious damage or injuries were reported.
