Governor Herbert kicks off his rural jobs tour.

Utah is constantly praised for its economy and recovery since the great recession. However some Rural areas haven’t fared so well. Herbert hopes to help create some 25 thousand jobs in rural Utah. The Governor told the Deseret news that he will not rest until Utah’s rural counties experience the same economic success as the Wasatch front. Washington County has done better than many other counties in the state, Iron County however faces an unemployment rate higher than the state average.
