Governor Herbert is ordering flags across the state to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset to honor those lost in the 9-11 terrorist attacks.  The governor said in a statement that Utahns should remember the sacrifices of those who died on that day 16 years ago and others who have been fighting terrorism since then.  He says we should honor them by remembering our sacred duties as both Americans and as decent human beings.  The September 11th, 2001 attacks using hijacked planes caused the deaths of several thousand Americans in New York City, Washington, DC, and in a field in Pennsylvania.
