A family cleaning out a Cottonwood Heights home finds a big surprise: a live World War Two mortar shell.  KSL-TV reports the homeowner had recently died and brought the explosive back after his service in the war.  Police blocked off the area around the home waiting for a bomb squad to get there to remove the device.  It was safely taken from the home last night.
