St. George murder suspect arrested in Northern California

St. George Police are confirming the suspect connected in the death of a Denny's cook was arrested in northern California yesterday afternoon.

Police found the cook's body in his apartment home that he and the suspect share after his boss requested a welfare check when the man failed to show up for work.

Police say Joshua Andrew Huntsman allegedly killed the man sometime after midnight last Friday and fled the apartment driving the man's vehicle, which was missing when the manager arrived to check up on him.

The suspect is being charged with first-degree murder and second-degree felony theft.
