The costs to fight the nearly contained Brian Head Fire will hit about 34-million-dollars.

The Deseret News reports the state and Federal Emergency Management Agency will be picking up the tab to battle the blaze instead of Iron County.  Regular helicopter patrols will still fly over the fire once it's contained to ensure it doesn't spread out of control again.  The more than 71-thousand-acre fire has been burning for the past month and destroyed 13 homes.
