Two hour standoff results in arrest in St. George

A warrant served by Saint George police began a two-hour standoff.

It happened Wednesday evening when officers arrived at a town home on Middleton Drive.

Police used a bullhorn to tell the residents to come out.

No one did, so officers called in a SWAT team and K-9 units, along with several ambulances.

Matthew Mitchell was arrested by the Washington County Drug Task Force and is now facing charges in the incident.
