(Hurricane, UT) -- A 50-acre brush fire in Hurricane has been contained. Firefighters were called to the blaze yesterday afternoon just after 2 and had it contained by 6 p.m. The flames threatened several structures. The National Weather Service says wind gusts were as strong as 30 miles-an-hour, which helped fuel the fire. The cause appears to be a man-made debris fire that got out of hand.
