This final bombing involved a device laced with nails, amplifying its destructive potential.
Authorities believe San Diego’s actions were tied to his involvement with animal rights extremist groups, fueled by his staunch vegan beliefs. His capture was announced on November 26, 2024, bringing some resolution to crimes that had left a lasting impact on the communities affected.

One such individual remains on their Ten Most Wanted list: a California man accused of fatally shooting another man in a crowded Sylmar shopping center in 2019.
