CannonBall!! Hidden Gem Lake in Utah is a Must Visit
There's nothing like a summer trip to a lake.
Doritos. Mountain Dew. Twizzlers, both red and chocolate and heck black licorice too.
You load up in the shaggin' wagon and head for the hills.
Utah has a bunch of great lakes but there's one that is a little underrated.
Navajo Lake - Cedar Mountain, Utah
Holy moly!
According to zionadventurephotog:
"Located in Dixie National Forest, Navajo Lake is absolutely gorgeous! It’s also absolutely freezing, since it’s an alpine lake on top of Cedar Mountain, but when you a ready to escape that intense heat down south I don't think you will mind a swim in cold water.
Navajo Lake was naturally formed by lava flow and you can explore the lava beds in the area when the water gets too chilly." (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
This place looks incredible.
Here are some of the reviews from people online:
From Melissa on TripAdvisor:
"Lake was amazing! Kids loved swimming and hanging out. If your into fishing or carrying kayaks this is a great lake for water fun. People were catching fish and boaters were having a good time. We definitely made a day of just swimming and picnicking!" (LINK)
Alright, we're going.
Pack it up. Meet at the Maverick on the Boulevard exit. If you get there first, get some Spitz seasoned sunflower seeds, the one pound bag, a 64 oz. Coke unleaded. Better do a Butterfinger king size and let's really go nuts with licorice. Get the red twizzlers and some chocolate if they have it.
See you up there!
