Iconic Breakfast Restaurant Franchisee Files Bankruptcy, Utah Effected?

Denny's people and IHOP people.
I was always a Denny's person. Every roadtrip we'd stop at Denny's and I'd get a Lumberjack slam and eat half of it and was chided roundly.

According to MSN.com: (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
"Exton Operating Group Inc., which operates an International House of Pancakes franchise in Exton, Pa., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on March 24, 2025, to reorganize its business.
Dine Brands Global IHOP restaurant chain franchisee indicated funds will be available to pay unsecured creditors."
Luckily, despite this franchisee going bankrupt, IHOP said that this won't effect the brand nationally.
Per Merca20.com:
"We are committed to continuing to serve with the quality and hospitality that IHOP is known for, while we work on strengthening our operational foundation and protecting the jobs of our team members,” the company said in its statement." (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
However, there are already a couple IHOP's in Utah that have closed down. One in Riverton and one in Draper closed within the last couple of years, but those may have been more to do with the wave of COVID closures.
What are your thoughts? Are you a big IHOP person and if not where do you go on Saturday mornings? It seems like Black Bear is one of the most busy places in St. George. Let us know in the comments!
