A video produced in 1991 that was made to run in St. George area motel rooms and entice visitors to stay an extra day in Southern Utah, makes me want to visit that earlier decade. If you lived in Washington County in the 90s you will remember these signs.

The video takes you on a shopping trip through the mall with so many stores that are gone and don't exist anywhere anymore. Many kids in the 90s spent their time hanging out at the one hall mall.

Familiar Signs if You Were Cruising the Boulevard

The house is still there, but the Mexican restaurant is long gone. Los Hermanos was around when kids were still cruising the Boulevard on Spring Break. This was also where you could see the Gable House before it became Godfather's Pizza.

One of the biggest changes from the 90s was the name of the college. This statue of a confederate soldier was the first to go, followed by the name Dixie College later on. All that's left is the "D" on the hill.

It is surprising to see the level of film quality from this decade. Still, it kind of makes you want to head back to what seemed like a simpler time in Southern Utah.
