Transform Bald Patches in Utah Lawns With Toilet Paper And Grass Seed
Make your grass look better this year by using toilet paper. I'm not talking for the dogs that treat your lawn like their personal toilet, I'm talking about filling in those bald spots with this unique solution.
Transform Your Lawn: An Innovative Solution
You have probably tried sprinkling grass seed on these bare spots only to have the birds fly in for a feast. You may have added dirt on top with limited success. Part of the problem is this grass seed needs more water than the rest of your lawn.
That is where the toilet paper comes in. Buy some biodegradable TP and unroll it in a bucket of water. Then take some grass seed that fits the area where you are trying to fill in with grass.
The Secret Ingredient: Biodegradable Toilet Paper
You may need seed for high traffic area or for shade or sunshine. Mix this in with the toilet paper and mix into a soggy disgusting looking goop. Now take it to the bare spot. You may need to dig out this area, especially it is a result of a dog peeing.
Put the soggy toilet paper seed concoction in the whole and cover with some dirt. Then water once a day in addition to your normal sprinkling. The TP will keep the seeds moist in between watering.

In a few days you should see grass growing in the spot and in a week it might even be tall enough to mow.
