Two state lawmakers want to mandate testing for lead in the drinking water at all public schools and daycare centers. 

State Representatives Stephen Handy and Jani Iwamoto are pushing a bill that would also require action if a school tested for lead above a certain level. 

Tests by the state Department of Environmental Quality found lead in the water of 90-percent of all Utah schools it sampled.
