Senator Romney weighs in on deadly U.S. airstrike

Utah Senator Mitt Romney is speaking out following the U.S. airstrike that killed a top Iranian military commander.

In a statement last night, the Republican called the commander a depraved terrorist who had the blood of hundreds of American servicemen and women on his hands.

Romney chairs the subcommittee that deals with the Middle East, and said he plans to press the Trump administration for its strategy going forward.

The terrorist is blamed for organizing the recent mob attacks on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad.
