Two elderly out-of-state visitors hit, killed by vehicle on Main Street in Moab

An elderly man and woman visiting from Ohio were hit and killed while attempting to cross a Moab street Thursday night.

The incident happened on Main Street in downtown Moab.

Police say there were attempting to cross the street outside of a crosswalk.

The driver of the vehicle that hit them is cooperating with officers.

The victim’s identities have not been released.
