Mayfield rancher offers reward in livestock deaths

A rancher in Mayfield is asking for the public's help after two of his animals were found shot to death.

Mark Mecham said it happened last Wednesday as the family was at the hospital, welcoming a new baby boy.

They returned to find their Texas Longhorn Bull and black Angus steer both dead from gunshot wounds.

In a Facebook post, Mecham offered a 25-hundred dollar reward for any tips leading to an arrest and conviction.
