The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) has stocked 8.2 million fish across 604 waterbodies this year, In response to drought, the DWR has made changes to their stocking practices, including stocking fewer, larger fish where needed
Protecting local native species such as the Woundfin and Virgin River Chub is important for preserving Utah's heritage and providing a future for our children and grandchildren.
Statewide, aquatic invasive species technicians with the DWR, Utah State Parks, Arizona Game and Fish Department and the National Park Service have inspected 268,630 boats.
