Authorities say LDS church fire turns out suspicious

The United Fire Authority is asking for the public's help with their investigation into a fire at a Cottonwood Heights meetinghouse.

Officials had initially said that they thought the Sunday fire at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building was not suspicious.

But yesterday they issued a statement asking for help to find the identity of one or more people who may have been involved in starting the fire.

Anyone with information can call the Cottonwood Heights Police Department or the Unified Fire Authority.
