Dixie State University’s will hold a panel discussion over the proposed name change

Dixie State University’s Institute of Politics and Public Affairs will be holding a panel discussion over the proposed name change later this week.  The event is being held in hopes to bring in the perspectives from the university, faculty, students and community. University officials say at a time when our nation has difficulty discussing issues in a civil manner, they know St. George can be better as the institute has held several events on difficult subjects but found common ground. The discussion is set for noon at Dixie State's Dolores Doré Eccles Fine Arts Center. Seating is limited due to COVID-19, however, it will also be livestreamed on the institute’s Facebook page.
