DSU planning for expansion
Dixie State University is expanding its footprint.
The school is in the process of buying 126 acres of land south of the St. George airport.
It will cost the university about ten-million dollars.
So far, school administrators aren't sure what they'll use the land for, but say it will eventually help ease congestion as they accommodate more students.
According to the Utah System of Higher Education, more than 11-thousand students are currently enrolled at DSU, up more than 12-percent from last year.
