 Governor Gary Herbert is urging Utahns to keep COVID-19 safety in mind as they prepare for Thanksgiving next week.  In todays Coronavirus press Conference Governor Gary Herbert began with a positive message for Utah citizens, saying “WE have a lot of things to say were thankful for particularly this year of 2020 when we’ve had so many different challenges not the least of which is this pandemic which is impacting every aspect of our lives.

The governor listed several guidelines and recommendations for people to follow in hopes of preventing outbreaks.  The ideas include holding celebrations outside if possible and for a shorter time, practicing social distancing at the dinner table and only eating with people within the same household.  The recommendations come as the CDC urges Americans against traveling for the holiday.
