A group of kids is staying warm after they fell through the ice of a pond in Lehi yesterday afternoon.

Police say six kids were crossing a pond near Willow Park when the ice collapsed beneath them.

Fortunately, the section they were walking on was just a few feet from the shoreline, and the water was only waist deep.

Authorities say the incident is a good reminder to stay off the icy surface of a pond since there is no way to know how much weight it can hold.
