Human caused brush fire threatening homes in Diamond Valley

A brush fire is burning tonight near Diamond Valley above Winchester Hills. The fire is threatening the residential area and so far, it has burned around 100 acres.Multiple fire agencies are on the scene. The fire started at around 6pm and is believed to be human caused, shooting related. According to the Utah department of Transportation SR-18 is closed in both direction due to the fire and is not expected to open sometime after 9pm.This comes after a red fire alert was announced today.
