1.The St. George Tabernacle. a magnificent structure completed in 1876. Its grand architecture and intricate craftsmanship stand as a testament to the faith and dedication of the pioneers who constructed it. Today, the tabernacle serves as a living reminder of the pioneers' enduring spirit. It is open for tours Monday – Saturday: 10:00 AM– 6:00 PM and Sunday: 12:00 PM– 6:00 PM

2.The Brigham Young Winter Home in St. George is an iconic pioneer site. This charming home served as a winter residence for the prominent leader of the Latter-day Saints, Brigham Young. Visiting the historic home allows one to walk in the footsteps of a key figure in Utah's history and gain insight into the life of a pioneer leader. 4. Cove Fort Historic Site. Situated north of Beaver just off I-15. This impeccably preserved fort played a vital role as a way station along the Mormon Corridor, providing essential rest and support to weary travelers and pioneers on their challenging journeys. 5. the Hole-in-the-Rock in San Juan County is a site of immense historical significance. In 1880, intrepid pioneers forged a path through the formidable cliffs, braving treacherous conditions to cross the Colorado River. This remarkable feat showcases their unwavering determination and resourcefulness, leaving an indelible mark on Utah's pioneer history. I put this on because it’s amazing what they accomplished, but there is no visitors center or formal tour, only a dirt road to get there.
