Utah lawmakers will again look to freeze the clock on daylight saving time at the State Capitol.

Senate Bill 59 from Republican State Senator Wayne Harper would keep Utah on daylight saving time year-round, should the federal government give the state approval.

Last year, state lawmakers passed a resolution to back a bill in Congress from Utah Congressman Rob Bishop, calling for states to have the power to decide whether they would observe the time change.
