Utah state officials have spent more than 108-million dollars to buy emergency supplies in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Spending reports released by Utah's COVID-19 Incident Command show broad use of "emergency procurement" powers to secure items needed for healthcare workers and patients.

More than 73-million dollars of that amount went to purchasing of personal protective equipment.

It also includes millions for tech contracts for apps and a website to help with testing and contact tracing.
