Police investigating the disappearance of a University of Utah student say their biggest hurdle right now is that they are unsure MacKenzie Lueck wants to be found.

Salt Lake City Assistant Police Chief Tim Doubt said yesterday that there is no evidence of foul play so far, adding that Lueck appears to have gone willingly with someone she met at a North Salt Lake park after being dropped off by a Lyft driver.

Salt Lake City police there is a limit on what they can do to find Lueck because she is an adult and may have made a personal decision to drop off the grid.

Police are currently checking phone records, bank accounts and social media for possible clues to her location.
