Authorities in Utah County have identified human remains found in American Fork Canyon as those of a woman who went missing in February of last year.

The Utah County Sheriff's Office confirmed yesterday that remains found Sunday belong to 24-four-year-old Jerika Binks.

A hiker found Jerika's remains on Sunday evening at the bottom of a ravine.

Investigators say a preliminary autopsy shows Binks had a broken leg and think it probably played a role in her death.
