A hiker from Texas is dead after falling from a cliff in southern Utah.
Officials with Utah State Parks say 54-year-old Charles Campassi of Houston was hiking in Dead Horse Point State Park near Moab when he fell yesterday.
He was reportedly walking with his family about 100 feet off of the West Rim Trail when he lost his footing and fell about 200 feet.
A 25-year-old man from Kanosh died Monday morning after being hit by a semi-truck near Monahans, Texas.
According to Sergeant Oscar Villarreal with the Texas Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 6:15 a.m. on State Highway 18 & State Loop 464, one mile north of Monahans, Texas.
