Task Force organized to reform tax code
State Republican leaders are naming the members of the Utah House and Senate who will serve on a task force looking into reforming the state tax code.
Five lawmakers from each chamber and four non-voting members were announced yesterday by House Speaker Brad Wilson and Senate President Stuart Adams.
The group plans to meet this month to begin discussing changes to the tax code to help create a better balance between sales and income taxes in Utah.
The task force also plans a series of public hearings to get input on tax reform.
