Utah's small business owners impacted by COVID-19 are pleading for more state help.

President of the Utah Independent Business Coalition, Doug Burton, says some small family enterprises might not bounce back if they wait too long for help.

This realization urged business owners to send a letter yesterday to officials asking them to act quickly and effectively.

Top legislative leaders say they're holding a special session later this week with Utah's struggling businesses in mind and will discuss the possibility of new emergency loans or grants among other things.
