Utahn’s love latest Star Wars sequel

Utahns are showing a lot of love for the latest "Star Wars" sequel.

Megaplex Theatres announced yesterday that seven of its locations were in the top 40 nationally when it came to turnout for "Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker."

The theatre at The District in South Jordan had the third-highest turnout in the U.S. and Canada, according to a statement from the theater chain.

The film grossed just under 176-million-dollars in its debut weekend.
