A large number of Utah's homeless population will be moved into a hotel to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Homeless resource centers in Salt Lake County will lease out an entire hotel.

About 130 men who are over the age of 60 or who have underlying health issues will be sent over with case managers and other resource staff.

The centers believe that will give them room to allow for better social distancing at their main facilities while Utah experiences what could be its peak of COVID-19 patients.
