Three teens are dead following a car crash in Sanpete County.

Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Clay Morgan said the teens were in a car that ran into the back of a pickup truck on Power Plant Road east of Mount Pleasant on Friday night.

Police say many drivers like to speed on the road because it gives the same sensation as a roller coaster when a car comes over the top of the hill.

Ryan Lyman of Ephraim and Julie Oldroyd and Kodi Wheeler of Fountain Green were killed in the crash.

The driver of the car was wearing a seat belt and survived the crash, and police have not determined if that person will face charges.

Kodi Wheeler's sister Emily says she understands what drew her sister and friends to Power Plant Road Friday night.
