Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is confident in his chances of becoming the next president of the United States.

Sanders drew a large crowd to the Utah State Fairpark yesterday.

The Vermont senator is a heavy favorite in Utah for Super Tuesday, with a poll last week showing him leading the field with 28-percent support.

However, that same poll still had Pete Buttigieg, Tom Steyer and Amy Klobuchar still competing in the race.

All three of those candidates dropped out following last weekend's South Carolina primary.

In an interview, Sanders outlined the reasons why he feels he can compete against Trump in Utah and other heavily Republican states.
