(St. George, UT) -- Roughly 30 people gathered Friday in St. George for a pro-life rally after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that had made abortions legal nationwide. St. George city councilwoman Michelle Tanner was among the attendees, calling Friday a "momentous day in history to say that we respect everybody's constitutional rights and that includes the unborn." She worked at a women's clinic as a teenager and says she held one miscarried baby in the palm of a hand. There were two-thousand-554 abortions performed in Utah last year by Planned Parenthood.
