Depression in the State of Utah
More than a third of adults in some Utah communities have depression, but less than half of adults with mental illness have received any treatment or counseling.
That's the word from the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute and the Utah Hospital Association, which released their report Wednesday.
In 2018, Utah was in the 51st spot in the nation for how well people with mental challenges were able to get care.
