Dirt Bike rider in Critical Condition

A dirt bike rider is in the hospital after crashing in Apple Valley along a rugged trail.

Fire Chief Kevin Barlow said crews found the unconscious 40-year-old man around nine-thirty Saturday night, in an area east of Smithsonian Way.

E-M-T's treated the man during the helicopter flight, and continued to work on him in the ambulance on the way to Dixie Regional Medical Center.

The man is in critical condition.
