Dixie Regional asking public to take precautions
Dixie Regional Medical Center officials are asking for the public to take precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 as the intensive care unit at the hospital nearly reached capacity.
Medical Director Dr. Patrick Carroll says the number of hospitalizations is concerning as they got close to opening up a surge ICU last week.
He added that following recommendations and taking precautions can leave ICU beds open for other emergencies like a stroke.
