Drivers license database could be prone to cyberattack
Utah's driver license database could be vulnerable to a potential cyberattack.
According to a report from the Utah State Auditor, the Driver License Division failed to deactivate user accounts of some former workers.
The audit also found that some employees didn't create sufficiently strong passwords that could withstand multiple attempts to login from unknown users.
Officials for the division say they have updated IT security policies since the review.
