The Division of Wildlife Resource is warning Utahns across the state to not leave any food out for deer.

Officials say corn kernels were discovered in the gut of a deer that recently died from chronic wasting disease in the Moab area.

They warn that since food is sparse in the winter months, deer will congregate in areas where they can find something to eat.

That increases the odds for CWD to spread from one animal to another.
