Family Members of Shooting Rampage Man Apologize

The family members of a man who was shot dead by fifteen officers after a shooting rampage in Salt Lake City Monday, are apologizing for his actions.

In a statement issued this week, the family of 37-year-old Harold Vincent Robinson said he suffered from mental illness and had paranoid delusions.

They said Robinson had recently been treated at a mental health hospital.  Fifteen officers remain on administrative leave as West Valley police investigate the shooting.
