Former Kanosh fire chief charged

A former fire chief is charged with trying to protect his son from the fallout of several rape charges.

Court documents say Scott Corry of Kanosh is accused of having known that his son, Austin James Corry, had been charged last September with raping a woman firefighter several times beginning in 2015.

Scott Corry allegedly did nothing about it, and Austin Corry raped the woman again a few months later.

Scott Corry was the fire chief in Kanosh, and he also worked with the Millard County Sheriff's office for more than 30 years.
