Hurricane man charged for child pornography

A Hurricane man accused of having child pornography is arrested after he skips a court date. 

Sixty-six-year-old Russell McGonigle was arrested on a 50-thousand-dollar warrant Tuesday and booked into the Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane. 

In April of 2018 detectives got a warrant to search McGonigle's home, where they found sexually explicit photos of children on a computer and other devices. 

McGonigle is set to appear in court next week.
