The Salt Lake Bees Have A New Identity… And It’s HILARIOUS!
The Rise of Dirty Soda in Utah
If you've lived in Utah for more than... 30 seconds, you already know one thing: Dirty Soda. In Utah, Dirty Soda isn't just a drink it's a way of life. What started as a simple idea in St. George has now grown into a national phenomenon! It's become so popular, it's now made it's way into the Minor League Baseball scene.
Introducing the Utah Dirty Sodas Identity
The Salt Lake Bees just unveiled their brand-new alternative identity, the Utah Dirty Sodas. However, this alternative identity will only become reality during Wednesday Bee's home games! This rebrand celebrates some unique (and weird) Utah soda culture, something that is fitting because the biggest name in this trend, Swig, was born in small St. George, Utah. Long before dirty sodas spread across the country, St. George locals were lining up for their customized drinks, launching a concept that would eventually explode nationwide!
Team executives with the Salt Lake Bees say the idea came together after searching for a locally inspired identity that truly incapsulates Utah culture. Dirty sodas quickly rose to the top, thanks to the massive popularity and connection to the state. Partnering with Swig a national brand with hometown pride, made this concept feel like a perfect match.
Exciting Game Day Experiences for Fans
The collaboration is going ALL IN on the theme. Wednesday games will feature $3 Swig drinks, exclusive merchandise, special promotions, and even a giant inflatable Swig cup beyond the outfield fence. If a home run hit's the cup, fans will score a free drink!
Minor league teams across the country have embraced quirky alternative identities for years, but this one hits differently for Beehive State locals. Seeing something that started in St. George grow into a nationwide trend, and now, professional baseball, brings immense pride to the residents of Southern Utahl.
The Utah Dirty Sodas era is officially underway.
