Southern Utah bad boy/Southern Utah heart throb, DJ Tischner recently stopped into Target to buy himself some church pants. When he walked into the clothing section he was in utter disbelief at the mess that was in nearly the entire clothing section. Piles and piles of clothes were stacked making it almost impossible to find ANYTHING inside the store. "You will not believe this place! You've got to see this place!" said Tischner as he made his way through the store. Along the journey you could see the piles of clothes, shoes scattered everywhere and TONS of items that were just thrown on top of the mess.

Tischner posted the video on TikTok where it has already received 2.2 million views, over 18,000 comments and over 91,000 likes. It was very clear what had happened at this store. Customers had made huge messes, and it was too much for employees to clean up in a day or two. This would take A LOT of employees, and A LOT of time. Instead of leaving the Target how it was, Tischner showed up the next day with his mother where they began folding clothes and tidying the sections themselves. A random woman even stopped to ask DJ's mom where the Greeting Cards are located, thinking his mother was an actual Target employee. After nearly 90 minutes of cleaning, the section looked immaculate again.

But that wasn't enough. Tischner was challenged by his TikTok followers to "Do a part 3!" and volunteer to clean the store up again. That's exactly what he did. He went into Target, found a section and started tidying up again! Many people came by assuming he was a Target employee and were surprised to hear that he was just helping.

AMAZING HAPPENED:

Here's where the story gets REALLY GOOD. As DJ was tidying up a small section, a woman, her daughter, and her grandson heard what he was doing and THEY even donated an hour of their time and decided to help the cause! They stood side by side DJ and folded clothes while exchanging stories, laughs, and handshakes.

Obviously, this entire article has been very tongue-in-cheek, as I am DJ Tischner, the writer as well as the guy that folded some clothes at Target. But, I was SO FLOORED that these two women would stop their day and help out in this cause! I even had a Target employee come up to me, thank me for what I've been doing, and ask me to feature some of the newly cleaned sections inside the store. My answer was "ABSOLUTELY! OF COURSE!" That was the entire point of my video series, and this article as well. The employee told me "We just got a little behind on this.", and that's TOTALLY OKAY to admit. Things in life will get like that sometimes. We will run into things or situations in life where it seems too daunting, or too overwhelming, but if everyone can take a minute of their time to HELP, instead of COMPLAIN, we can be a much stronger community. I find myself itching to go back to Target to help out. Not for TikTok views, or article clicks, but because for once... I really felt like I was making a difference and helping someone without expecting anything else back from them.

FINAL WORDS:

99% of the time, my articles are sarcastic, or funny, or unserious, but this time it's different. If you ever take any advice from a stranger, take this: Help out when you can. When you see someone struggling, HELP OUT! I don't care if it's a billion dollar corporation like Target, or a neighbor down the street. Sometimes people need a break. Sometimes people need a little help, and if we're able to give some of that help, we should.
