The Transportation Safety Administration is expecting big crowds at Salt Lake City International Airport for Thanksgiving weekend.

The TSA said yesterday that they expect about 25-thousand travelers to be screened at the airport this Friday.

Next Wednesday, that number is expected to increase to 29-thousand, while 30-thousand should fly out of the airport a week from Sunday.

The projections are an eight-percent increase from the number of passengers that were screened at TSA checkpoints last Thanksgiving.
