Governor Gary Herbert and Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox are reprimanding LDS missionaries for congregating outside the airport last night after returning home from missions.

Roughly 15-hundred missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints returned home from the Philippines Sunday, leading to massive gatherings outside of the Salt Lake City International Airport.

On Twitter, Governor Herbert said returning missionaries should not be met by large groups of any kind since that will only help spread coronavirus.

Lieutenant Governor Cox offered harsh criticism as well, tweeting "we must do better to save lives."
